How do I fill a form?

You have three ways to fill a form with Fillsnap once you've created a profile:

  • Right-click anywhere on the page and choose "Fill with Fillsnap"
  • Press Alt+F on any page with a form
  • Click the Fillsnap icon in your browser toolbar and hit the Fill button
Is my data safe?

Your profile is stored locally in your browser. When you fill a form, your profile values and the form's structure are sent to our AI for that single request — we never store, log, or sell your data.

Prefer extra privacy? Turn on Enhanced Privacy Mode in settings. In that mode, only field names (like "first_name") are sent to the AI — your actual values stay on your device.

Why didn't Fillsnap fill some fields?

Fillsnap deliberately skips certain fields to keep you safe:

  • Password fields — passwords are never autofilled
  • CAPTCHAs and human-verification challenges
  • Consent, terms of service, and privacy checkboxes — you must read and agree yourself
  • File upload inputs

Fields may also be skipped if your profile doesn't contain a matching value. Add the missing information to your profile and try again.

Can I undo a fill?

Yes. After a fill, click the Undo button in the popup or the success toast. Fillsnap restores every field to exactly the value it had before you filled.

I hit my monthly fill limit — what now?

Free accounts get 15 fills per month (3 per day). Upgrade to Pro for 500 fills/month (25/day) and cloud sync, or Ultra for unlimited fills, unlimited profiles, and priority support. You can upgrade from the extension's Premium tab.

Fillsnap isn't detecting a form — what should I do?

Some forms are tricky. Try these in order:

  • Reload the page and wait for it to fully load
  • Scroll through the page — some forms load only when visible
  • If the form is inside an iframe from another domain, Fillsnap cannot access it
  • Press Alt+F explicitly instead of waiting for auto-detection

Does Fillsnap work on mobile?

Fillsnap is a Chrome extension and works on any desktop browser that supports Chrome extensions (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera). We don't currently have a mobile version — mobile browsers don't support extensions.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the Fillsnap extension, go to Premium, and click Manage subscription. You'll be redirected to the billing portal where you can cancel anytime. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Can I use Fillsnap on multiple devices?

Yes — paid plans include encrypted cloud sync. Sign in on each device and enable sync in settings. Your profiles are encrypted with AES-GCM on your device before upload, and we cannot read them even if we wanted to. Free accounts are limited to a single device.

How do I delete my account?

Open the Fillsnap extension, go to Settings, scroll to the Account section, and click Delete account. Your profiles, fill history, and all associated data are permanently removed. If you have a paid subscription, cancel it first.
